Import an entire Shopify store or collection

When the source is a Shopify store, you don't have to import products one by one. Paste a collection URL or the store's homepage URL and Migratify imports everything in it.

Steps

  1. Go to the Import page.
  2. In the Product URL card, paste one of:
    • A product URL, for a single product
    • A collection URL (for example https://examplestore.com/collections/summer), for every product in that collection
    • The store URL (for example https://examplestore.com), for the whole catalog
  3. Migratify validates the URL and shows how many products it found. The Product preview shows the first few so you can spot-check them.
  4. Adjust your Import settings, then click Start migration.

Good to know

  • Large imports are capped at 10,000 products per import.
  • Big catalogs take a while. The import keeps running on our servers even if you close the browser, and products appear in your Shopify admin as they finish.
  • Very large imports can hit Shopify's own daily limit for creating variants. If that happens, Migratify pauses and tells you to retry later. See Shopify variant creation limit reached.
