"Shopify variant creation limit reached"

Shopify limits how many new product variants a store can create per day. Large imports, especially products with many size and color combinations, can hit that limit. This is Shopify's limit, not Migratify's.

When it happens, Migratify pauses importing and shows this banner for up to 24 hours.

Fix

1. Wait a few hours. Shopify's daily limit resets on its own.
2. Run the import again. Products that were already imported are safe; re-run the remaining URLs.

Avoid hitting it

• Split very large imports into smaller batches over a couple of days.
• Products from Amazon and Etsy are already capped at 100 variants each by Migratify, but hundreds of such products in one day can still reach Shopify's store-wide limit.
