Product URL won't validate

You pasted a URL on the Import page but Migratify can't find any products, or shows "Unable to validate URL". Here's how to get past it.

Checks

1. Make sure it's a product page URL. Paste the link to the product itself, not a search results or category page. Only Shopify stores support collection and whole-store URLs.
2. The website may need the Chrome extension. Shopee, AliExpress, and other captcha or login protected sites can't be fetched directly. If you see "Use the Chrome extension to import products from this website", follow Import from protected websites with the Chrome extension.
3. Custom websites vary. Migratify supports 100+ platforms, but unusual page layouts on custom websites can fail. Try importing the product with the Chrome extension instead.
4. Try Skip validation. If you're confident the URL is right, tick Skip validation and start the import. You won't get a preview, but the import may still succeed.
5. Free plan limit. If you've imported 5 products on the Free plan, URL fields are disabled until you upgrade. See "You have reached the free plan limit".
