Let the AI offer discount codes

RagChat can share discount codes with shoppers at the right moment, for example to close a hesitant sale. You stay in full control: the AI never creates discounts and only shares the codes you approve, following the rules you write.

This feature requires the Standard plan or higher. See Plans and pricing.

Before you start

RagChat does not create discounts. Create the discount code in your Shopify admin first (Discounts section), then register it in RagChat.

Turn it on

1. Open RagChat and go to Settings → AI.
2. Under Capabilities, turn on Offer discounts.
3. Click Manage codes.
4. Add each code with two fields:
   • Code: the exact discount code from Shopify, for example WELCOME10.
   • When to use: plain-language rules for the AI, for example "Offer only to first-time visitors who hesitate about price. Never offer if they already have a discount."
5. Save. You can add up to 5 codes.

How shoppers see it

When the AI decides a code fits your rules, it shares a discount card in the chat with the code ready to copy. The AI only ever shares codes from your list, exactly as you entered them, so it cannot invent codes or wrong percentages.
