Work with option values
Option values are the individual choices inside a choice option, such as the colors in a Color swatch or the items in a Dropdown. This article covers everything you can do with them.
Option values apply to these option types: Dropdown, Radio button, Checkbox, Button, Color swatch, and Image swatch.
Add and edit values
- Open your option set and select the option.
- Add a value and give it a Label. This is what customers see, and what appears on the cart and order.
- Repeat for each choice. Drag values to reorder them.
You can duplicate a value to copy its settings, or delete values you no longer need.
Value settings
- Selected by default: pre-selects this value when the page loads.
- Color (Color swatch only): the swatch color customers see.
- Image (Image swatch only): the thumbnail customers see.
Paid values (Pro)
On the Pro plan, a value can change what the customer pays:
- Add-on price: increases the product price by a fixed amount when the value is selected. See Charge add-on prices for options.
- Product linking: adds a linked product to the cart when the value is selected. See Link add-on products to option values.
