Options not showing on my product page
You created an option set but nothing appears on the product page. Work through these checks in order; the first one solves most cases.
1. Enable the app embed
The app embed is required. Without it, no options render at all.
- Open the app's home page and look at the setup guide. If Enable app embed is not done, click it.
- In the theme editor that opens, turn on the Optionize embed and click Save.
To check manually: in Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize, open App embeds, and make sure Optionize is on.
2. Check the option set is enabled
On the Option sets page, a disabled option set doesn't render. Check its status and use the show action (the eye icon) to enable it.
3. Check the product is assigned
- Open the option set and review its product targeting.
- If it uses conditions, click View affected products and confirm your product is in the list.

4. Check if another option set is winning
Only one option set renders per product. If a different set also covers this product, it may be taking priority: Specific products assignments beat condition-based sets, which beat All products sets, and on a tie the most recently saved set wins. 5. Check the right theme
The app embed is enabled per theme. If you recently published a new theme, enable the Optionize embed on it too.
6. Options show, but at the bottom of the page?
