Translate your options widget

If your store sells in more than one language, you can translate the text the options widget shows to customers. This feature is available on the Pro plan.

Translations cover the widget's built-in text, such as validation messages ("This field is required") and interface labels, so shoppers see them in their own language.

Translate the widget

  1. In the app, go to Translations (also reachable from Settings, via the Manage translations button).
  2. Pick the language you want to edit.
  3. Enter your translated text for each string.
  4. Save.

Related settings

  • App language in Settings changes the language of the Optionize admin interface that you see, not what customers see.
  • Your option labels and values are written by you, so write them in your store's language directly when you build the option set.
