Track orders and add-on revenue

Features · Updated Jul 15, 2026

Optionize shows you which orders used your custom options and how much extra revenue your add-ons generate.

The dashboard

The app's home page shows three stat cards:

  • Revenue: additional revenue generated from add-on products sold through Optionize.
  • Orders: the number of orders that included add-ons.
  • Option sets: how many option sets you have.

The Optionize home page with Revenue, Orders, and Option sets stat cards below the setup guide

The Orders page

Go to Orders in the app to see the orders that used add-ons, including how many add-ons each order contained and the add-on revenue per order. Click through to open the order in your Shopify admin.

Where selections appear on an order

Every option the customer filled in is saved with the order line item, so you can fulfill exactly what was requested:

  • In Shopify admin, open the order and check the line item properties.
  • Paid add-ons appear as their own line items at checkout and on the order. See How add-ons appear in the cart and at checkout.
  • Customers also see their selected options on the order status and order history pages of their account.
