Plans and pricing
WiseReviews offers three plans: Free, Standard, and Plus. This article covers what each plan includes, how free trials work, and how billing works.

Monthly allowances (translations, review requests, and magic replies) reset at the start of each calendar month.
Change your plan
- In WiseReviews, go to Plans.
- Use the Monthly / Yearly toggle at the top to pick a billing cycle. Yearly plans are shown as a per-month price and billed annually.
- Click Choose this plan on the plan you want. Your current plan shows a disabled Current plan button.
- Approve the subscription charge in Shopify. Your new plan starts right away.
Free trials
Standard and Plus include a 3-day free trial. The trial starts when you approve the charge in Shopify, and you can cancel any time during the trial without being billed.
How billing works
Shopify handles the payment side of WiseReviews. We never see your card details and we never charge you directly.
- Your subscription is charged to the same payment method as your Shopify bill, and it appears on your regular Shopify invoice.
- Monthly plans run on 30 day cycles, not calendar months. A plan you start on August 1 renews on August 31. Yearly plans run on 365 day cycles.
- Each cycle is paid at the start, so you are always paying for the period ahead.
- Moving between two paid plans mid cycle is prorated by Shopify. Upgrading charges you the difference for the days left in the cycle, and downgrading credits you the difference.
- Moving from a yearly plan to a monthly plan is deferred by Shopify. You stay on yearly until that cycle finishes, and the monthly plan starts after it.
Cancel or downgrade
Go to Plans and click Choose this plan on the lower plan. Pick Free to cancel your paid plan.
The change happens immediately. Your paid plan stops right away and your store moves to the new plan's limits, so there is no refund for the days left in the cycle. You have already paid for the full period.
That works in your favor if you change your mind. Resubscribe before the cycle ends and you are not charged twice. Say you subscribe on August 1 and cancel on August 15. Come back on August 25 and you keep the plan for the rest of the cycle at no extra cost. Your next charge is on August 31, when the cycle would have renewed anyway.
Uninstalling WiseReviews cancels the subscription as well. Shopify stops the charges automatically.
