• Import product reviews from an alibaba.com or 1688.com product URL (no Chrome extension).
• Photos import when available. Reviewer avatars are not available from Alibaba or 1688.

• 1688 review text is often in Chinese; translate after import if you need another language. Automatic system reviews are skipped.

# Fix: bulk URL CSV skips pages with no reviews

• On Multiple URL import (Plus), a CSV row whose marketplace page has no reviews is now skipped instead of starting an empty import or registering the URL for auto-sync.
• Same rule as the single-URL import modal: zero reviews is never treated as a successful import.

# Fix: blocked imports no longer say no reviews

• A blocked or incomplete marketplace response is no longer reported as "no reviews found".
• You get the real next step instead (Chrome extension, CSV, or retry), matching the clearer import banners.

# Fix: HKTVMall imports timing out

• HKTVMall product-page imports and validation were timing out for many merchants.
• Those imports complete again when the marketplace is reachable.

# Fix: widget settings metafield retries after a Shopify blip

• Saving widget settings now retries the Shopify metafield write if the connection drops mid-save.
• Settings still reach the storefront without creating a duplicate metafield.

# Fix: Shopify blips no longer pause auto-sync

• A brief Shopify connection drop no longer counts as a shop sync failure.
• That stops temporary network blips from pausing your auto-sync import URLs.

# Fix: reviews stay when a product is deleted

• Deleting a product in Shopify no longer deletes its WiseReviews reviews.
• Those reviews are unpublished and stay on the Reviews page so you can republish them or move them to another product.
• You get one summary email when several products are deleted close together.

# Empty auto-sync URLs show No reviews

• Synced import URLs whose marketplace page is reachable but empty now show No reviews instead of Synchronized.
• After three empty syncs on the normal schedule (about five weeks), that URL pauses itself.
• Resume in Reviews → Synchronized reviews clears the counters and makes the URL due again right away.

# Fix: review metafield sync retries after a Shopify blip

• After a brief Shopify connection drop, WiseReviews retries writing your review metafield instead of clearing it and risking a duplicate.
• Your storefront star ratings and review widgets stay in sync more reliably. See Install the review widgets on your store.

# Fix: clearer message when a marketplace can't be reached

• When AliExpress or another marketplace is blocked or temporarily unreachable, validation now says the source is unavailable and offers Retry, Upload CSV, or Contact support, instead of a vague "something went wrong".

# Fix: import progress finishes when the batch completes

• Marketplace and extension imports now mark as finished when the import batch completes, without waiting for you to open the Reviews page.
• Imports that were left unfinished since 18 Sep 2026 still settle the next time you open Reviews.

# Fix: Reviews select-all checkbox clears the selection

• On the Reviews page, clicking the header select-all control again clears the current selection (including after "Select all N reviews").
• You no longer need to refresh or click every row to deselect.

# Fix: eBay imports with old dates and automated feedback names

• eBay feedback dated "More than a year ago" imports without failing the job.
• Remaining automated-feedback rows no longer show the literal "eBay automated feedback" reviewer name.

# Chrome extension checks limits before scraping

• Before scraping, the extension checks your app key and import limits so you are not left waiting on a blocked shop.
• On an unsupported page it lists Shopee, Amazon, Shein, and Temu so you can open the right site.
• CAPTCHA and security blocks are named clearly instead of looking like "no reviews".

# Unsubscribe and marketing consent on customer emails

• Review request, discount reward, and reply-notification emails all include an unsubscribe link and share one suppression list per shop.
• Optional Only send to customers who accept email marketing (off by default) uses Shopify consent on the order.
• Manage the list under Settings → Unsubscribed customers.

# Clearer next steps when a review import fails or finds nothing

• Failed, timed-out, empty, or partial marketplace and extension imports show a clear banner with a next step (Retry, Use Chrome extension, Upload CSV, or Contact support).
• The success toast only appears when reviews were actually imported.
• Import history shows a status badge for how each import ended.
